Our Coding & Robotics Program is designed to introduce pupils to the exciting world of computer science in a fun, age-appropriate, and hands-on way. Using globally recognized platforms like Scratch, Kodu Game Lab, MIT App Inventor, and VEXcode VR, children will learn to build games, design mobile apps, and even simulate real-life robotics projects — all while developing vital skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. For our more advanced pupils, we offer an introduction to Python, one of the most widely used programming languages in the world. This is not just education — this is empowerment for the future.
The White Cotton School Tech Hub is fully equipped to bring these programs to life. With 10 working desktop computers, 5 laptops, a projector for interactive sessions, printers, and cooling fans to ensure comfort, the Tech Hub is more than a classroom — it’s a digital playground for curious minds. It is also home to our school library, enriching the learning experience with access to a range of resources. Whether pupils are coding their first animation or watching an educational documentary, this space supports both creativity and comprehension.
Our weekly activities at the Tech Hub include Digital Creativity Practicals, Coding Classes, and our special Young Programmers sessions.
